Refunds
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Cancellation rules are defined by the bus operator or booking partner for each ticket. The applicable cancellation policy is shown during the booking flow wherever available.
Cancellation charges may depend on the time remaining before scheduled departure, seat type, operator rules, and whether partial cancellation is allowed.
The refund amount is calculated after deducting operator cancellation charges, applicable taxes, payment gateway charges, platform/service fees where applicable, and any non-refundable components.
If a ticket is non-refundable or cancellation is requested after the allowed time window, the refund amount may be zero.
Once a cancellation is successfully processed and refund is approved, the refund is initiated to the original payment method wherever possible.
Refund credit timelines depend on the payment gateway, bank, UPI provider, card network, and other payment partners. It may take several working days for the amount to reflect in the customer account.
If payment is debited but booking confirmation fails, BusBook will verify the payment and booking status before initiating either ticket confirmation or refund.
Customers should not make repeated payments for the same booking attempt unless the previous payment status is clearly failed.
BusBook does not operate buses directly. Delay, cancellation, rescheduling, route change, vehicle change, seat change, or missed boarding due to operator or external factors will be handled according to operator policy and applicable partner rules.
Customers should reach the boarding point on time and follow operator instructions.
For cancellation or refund help, customers should contact BusBook support with booking ID, passenger mobile number, travel date, route, and payment reference where available.
